My dream job would be to travel the world and take pictures for National Geographic. I mentioned that in one of the many job interviews I have had during the last few months. They thought it was ambitious! or to live somewhere in the countryside of some developing countries and teach people how to use their resources in a sustainable manner, or conduct tours around the world and inspire visitors about the beauty of diversity and culture.
Oh well! I don't know if I will ever get to any of these. I am one of those people who studied something and then end up doing a total different thing.
But I am finally "officially" employed. I work for the city (Parks and Recreation) and I am a manager of a center that is assisting refugees and low-income people with their education and recreation activities. My area of studies was in Parks and Recreation so at least I am in the right track. Hey, and this is a non-profit organization, isn't that what I want?
There are other jobs that pay better but I'll have to give up a lot of things if I take them. And this is the hardest part -- making decision. I have put in some thoughts and I think I am sticking with the non-profit one. I am sure this will give me a peace of mind.
Dance as if no one were watching; sing as if no one were listening; live everyday as if it were your last ...

the world of dolls
While going through some people's blog. I came across some interesting stuff. Well, I don't know. I guess with our world virtually changing, people come up with all of these ideas for hobbies. Meet Violet where you will see her as a pretty doll who has friends like Nora and Inky. They are all dolls who travel to meet other dolls !!!

Charice -- Because You Loved Me!
My favorite foreign pop singer is Céline Dion. She was supposed to come to SL in November but it is now postponed to February. Check out this duet with Céline and Charice, a phillipino girl who has such an amazing voice! A dream come true for her and maybe an inspiration to many.

I went BOARDING!
The person in the picture isn't me but yes, I did it! I went on Friday and today again. I fell on my bump for countless times but I got better today. In fact, I needed help to ride down the Majestic last week because I accidently slipped into a blue run instead of the green. Today I found my way and did it on my own down that long ride. I felt pretty sore after Friday and probably tomorrow too.I think my love for winter has changed a bit now. I still hate driving in the snow but I can say that snowboarding is fun, of course when you are pretty good at it.Funny moments out there tonight and on Friday:
I learned to not look at the trees today because where I am looking at is where I am going.
I accidently let my board slide down the mountain by itself and I was running after it.
I will crash if I go too fast.
My bump hurts more from falling while getting off the lift but not from my falls during the ride.
I will definitely go again to get the skills.
